diy bookmarks
Do you keep on ruining your books by dog-earring the pages? Have a go at making this easy bookmark out of things you’ll have around the house!
Creating time: 15 minutes
What you’ll need:
patterned paper
thick card
scissors
clear tape
Method:
First start off by cutting your card into the size you want your bookmark to be, this will be your base so if the card isn’t sturdy enough then you can stick the card together to make it stronger.
Then grab your patterned paper and figure out what you want your bookmark to look like, after that, cut off excess paper to prevent the bookmark being too thick.
Next wrap your card in the paper with the design facing outwards and secure with tape.
Once you have got your bookmark, wrap clear tape around it making sure to cover it completely. This will protect your bookmark and make it last longer.
And there you have it! A bookmark made in just 15 minutes which will last through all your readings.
Get even more curious and personalise it, you can design it to your own taste or if you poke a hole in the top you can add a ribbon as well. Make it yours!
